Job Description
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Prepare materials for impressions and restorations
- Provide post-operative instructions to patients
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed
Skills:
-Fluent in english and spanish
- Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures
- Knowledge of medical terminology and dental anatomy
- Familiarity with aseptic technique and infection control protocols
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality
- Ability to operate dental equipment and machinery
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the dentist in providing quality dental care to patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting with procedures, taking vital signs, maintaining patient records, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment. You will also have the opportunity to interact with patients, answer their questions, and provide them with post-operative instructions.
