Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and organized Bilingual Medical Receptionist to join our Nephrology healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for patients, providing exceptional customer service while managing administrative tasks efficiently.
Duties
Greet patients warmly and assist them with the check-in and check out process.
Appointment scheduling for multiple providers existing and new patients
Answering multi phone lines, heavy phone volume
Review and verify documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
Manage appointment scheduling and coordinate patient flow within the clinic.
Collect Copays
Communicate effectively with patients regarding their inquiries, appointments, and follow-up care.
Ensure compliance with Medicare regulations and other healthcare standards.
Verify insurance
Coordinate referrals and prior authorizations as required.
Ensure the waiting area and front desk are clean and organized
Assist with administrative duties such as filing, faxing, scanning, and emailing.
Experience
Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar administrative role is preferred.
Familiarity with documentation review, medical collection processes, and coding systems is essential.
Proficiency in EMR systems
Bilingual with Spanish
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment are required.
