Grand Novi Dentistry is seeking a detail‑oriented, motivated team member with strong medical billing experience (dental preferred) to join our growing practice. This hybrid role focuses primarily on insurance billing and claims management, with additional support at the front desk as needed. Billing experience is essential.

We are open to full‑time or part‑time candidates, including those who may already work at another office a few days per week. If you’re looking to expand your hours or transition into a new environment, we’d love to talk.

Key Responsibilities

Insurance Billing — Submit claims, verify coverage, post payments, and maintain accurate patient accounts.

Claims Follow‑Up — Close insurance claims efficiently and work directly with EOBs to resolve discrepancies.

Front Desk Support — Assist with check‑ins, scheduling, patient communication, and maintaining smooth office flow.

Patient Communication — Provide clear, friendly, and professional communication regarding insurance, balances, and appointments.

Qualifications

Prior dental office experience preferred

Medical billing experience required (dental strongly preferred)

Experience closing insurance claims and reviewing EOBs

Strong understanding of dental insurance processes

Excellent communication and organizational skills

Ability to multitask in a fast‑paced environment
