Job Description
At Frontier Diagnostics, we provide high-quality diagnostic imaging in a compassionate, patient-first environment.
Your Role
You are the first point of contact for our patients and referring physicians. You will ensure that appointments run on time and that patients understand their imaging tests. This is a fast-paced role ideal for someone who enjoys multitasking and helping people navigate their healthcare journey.
This is a part-time position requiring availability on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays. Opportunity to transition full-time may be available in the 3-6 months.
What You Will Do
Scheduling: Schedule appointments for ultrasound, x-ray, bone mineral density and mammography exams. You will optimize the calendar for efficiency while accommodating urgent requests.
Workflow Management: Manage incoming requisitions (fax/digital), coordinate with technologists to maintain clinic flow, and handle medical records/PACS data entry.
Communication: Act as a liaison between patients, radiologists, and referring doctor offices.
What You Bring
Experience: Previous experience as a Medical Office Assistant or Receptionist (experience in Radiology/Diagnostic Imaging is a strong plus).
Certification: Medical Office Assistant certificate or diploma preferred.
Tech Savvy: Proficiency with EMR systems and comfortable learning new scheduling software.
Soft Skills: Exceptional empathy for patients who may be anxious, combined with the ability to stay calm and organized during busy periods.
