Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our dynamic dental team. In this vital role, you will provide exceptional support to our dentists and ensure a smooth, efficient patient experience. Your expertise in dental procedures, patient care, and administrative tasks will help us deliver top-quality dental services in a welcoming environment. Responsibilities
Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, cleanings, restorations, and orthodontic treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to maintain strict infection control standards.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately and efficiently.
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort throughout visits.
Manage patient records using dental software systems such as Epic or Dentrix, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
Schedule appointments, confirm upcoming visits, and handle patient inquiries with professionalism.
Support orthodontic treatments by taking impressions, assisting with appliance placement, and providing patient education on orthodontic care.
Skills
Proficiency with Cleardent dental software an asset.
Knowledge of orthodontic procedures and appliances is highly desirable.
Experience working as a dental receptionist or in a front-office role is a plus.
Ability to understand and communicate medical terminology clearly to patients and team members.
Strong familiarity with pediatric dentistry practices to provide compassionate care for young patients.
Basic understanding of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) tools for assisting with dental appliance fabrication is beneficial.
Excellent communication skills combined with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters positive patient interactions.
