Job Description
Prince Dental is a digitized, full service dental clinic that offers comprehensive oral health care including preventative procedures, restorations, dental surgeries and orthodontic treatments.
We are looking for a Certified Dental Assistant/ Licensed Dental Assistant to join our busy and upbeat office in Coquitlam for 1 day per week on Saturdays.
Qualifications:
Min. 1 year dental assisting experience as a CDA
Experience with ClearDent preferred
Comfortable with technology and willing to learn
Ability to converse in English essential and Cantonese and/or Mandarin an asset
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during procedures and ensuring patient comfort.
Clean and sterilize instruments, disinfect treatment areas, and follow infection control protocols.
Capture digital radiographs and take dental impressions as per the dentist’s instructions.
Provide post-treatment instructions, oral hygiene guidance, and answer patient questions about procedures.
Set up rooms with necessary materials and ensure equipment is functioning properly before patient appointments.
Maintain order of the treatment room and supplies storage.
Update patient electronic records
