Certified Dental Assistant

Experienced Certified Dental Assistant (Certification in BC is Required)
Our family-oriented, multi-functioning dental practice is looking for a Certified Dental Assistant. We are a general and surgical practice committed to providing high-quality patient care. We are looking for a fast learner who is adaptable, coachable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced dental practice. We are willing to train the right candidate, but having 1–2 years of experience working in a clinical setting is an asset.

Schedule: (Full Time)
Monday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Tuesday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Wednesday: 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM (evening required)
Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM
Wage:
$30–$36 per hour, depending on experience

Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during general, orthodontic, Invisalign, Endo, and pediatric procedures
Prepare and maintain treatment rooms
Sterilize and organize instruments according to protocols
Take dental radiographs and CBCT's as required
Provide patient support and ensure a positive experience
Take ownership of assigned tasks related to operatory maintenance, inventory, and sterilization duties
Collaborate with the team on scheduled maintenance and daily workflow
Book next priority treatments and complete billing prior to dismissing patients to the front
Qualifications:
Certified Dental Assistant (required)
1 Year experience mandatory
iTero scanning experience is an asset (training provided)
Strong communication skills and attention to detail
