Certified Dental Assistant

Hello!

Our clinic is looking for a full-time dental assistant to become apart of our practice.

Hours would be:
Monday: 8am - 4pm
Tuesday: 9am - 1pm (no break)
Wednesday: 8am - 4pm
Thursday 10am-5:30pm
Friday 8am- 3:30pm.

* with one Saturday (9am -2pm) a month from September - April*

Responsibilities:

- Assist the dentist during dental procedures

- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments for dental procedures

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Sterilize and maintain dental equipment

- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Experience:

-Graduated from an accredited dental assistant program and be HARP certified is a must. Please indicated this on your CV or in your cover letter.

- Minimum 1 year of working experience as a Dental Assistant, however we are willing to train the right Level 1 / new graduate.

- Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry

- Experience using Dentrix

- Knowledge of pediatric dentistry and experience working with children

- Familiarity with Epic electronic health record system for dental documentation

- Experience in orthodontics

-Experience with iTero scanner
