Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a proactive individual who is passionate about dentistry and has a keen eye for detail.
We use Tracker Software. Days will be Tuesday - Saturday. Closed on the long weekend Saturdays.
Duties
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by preparing instruments and materials.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical history and treatment plans.
Sterilize instruments and ensure compliance with infection control protocols.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently.
Collaborate with the dental team to ensure a smooth operation of the practice.
Handle administrative tasks such as billing, insurance claims, and inventory management.
Skills
Proficiency in dental assisting techniques and procedures.
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and medical terminology is advantageous.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Experience as a dental receptionist is a plus.
Familiarity with CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology is desirable but not mandatory.
