Job Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our team. We value teamwork, communication, professionalism, and creating a positive experience for both our patients and our staff. We are looking for a CDA who is confident in their clinical skills, takes pride in their work, and enjoys working as part of a collaborative team. The successful candidate will work closely with our dentists and other clinical team members to provide exceptional patient care and ensure the smooth operation of the practice.
Responsibilities include:
Chairside assisting for general and comprehensive dentistry
Preparing treatment rooms and maintaining efficient operatory flow
Sterilization and infection prevention and control procedures
Taking dental radiographs
Digital scanning and other digital dentistry procedures
Assisting with restorative, crown and bridge, implant, surgical, and other dental procedures
Maintaining accurate and organized clinical records
Patient preparation, education, and support
Maintaining a clean, organized, and well-stocked clinical environment
Supporting the dental team with day-to-day clinical and office responsibilities
Following all practice protocols and applicable regulatory standards
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who is:
A Registered/Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) in good standing in British Columbia
Experienced in chairside dental assisting
Professional, reliable, and punctual
Friendly and compassionate with patients
Organized and able to multitask in a busy dental environment
A strong communicator and team player
Detail-oriented and takes pride in maintaining a high standard of clinical care
Comfortable learning and using modern dental technology
Positive, adaptable, and willing to contribute to a great team environment
Previous experience with digital scanning, implants, Invisalign, surgical procedures, or other advanced dental procedures is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
