Job Description
We are a new, patient-focused general dental practice looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to help build a positive office culture from the ground up while providing exceptional care in a modern, welcoming environment.

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of general dental procedures.
Prepare treatment rooms before appointments and clean and reset operatories afterward.
Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after treatment.
Take digital radiographs and intraoral photographs.
Maintain accurate clinical records and charting.
Perform instrument sterilization and maintain infection prevention and control standards.
Provide patients with oral hygiene education and post-operative instructions.
Monitor and maintain clinical supplies and equipment.
Work closely with the entire team to ensure an efficient, positive patient experience.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) program.
Current registration and licensure in good standing with the British Columbia College of Oral Health Professionals (BCCOHP).
Current CPR certification.
Previous experience in a general dentistry practice is preferred.
Proficient with digital radiography and electronic dental records.
Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to providing exceptional patient care.
A positive attitude and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
