Certified Dental Assistant

Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Assist the dentist during various procedures including exams, restorations, endodontics, cosmetic and orthodontic treatments
Take dental radiographs using sensor technology
Manage patient records accurately using dental software such as ABELDENT
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently, acting as a dental receptionist when needed
Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns during visits
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with safety standards
Experience
Certified Dental Assistant with active certification required
Proficiency with dental software ABELDENT is highly desirable
Knowledge of dental terminology relevant to dental care
Experience with CAD systems for digital impressions or radiography is a plus
Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team environment
