Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice/3 to4 days per week. Experience with "Dentrix" dental software and a strong understanding of dental terminology are highly valued. Duties
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to maintain a clean and safe environment.
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, photographs.
Take and develop dental radiographs
Manage patient records using Dentrix dental software
Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients, perfect English communication
Educate patients on oral health care practices and answer their questions about treatments
Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans using dental terminology
Support the team in maintaining compliance with safety protocols and infection control standards
Experience
Prior one-year full-time experience in dental assisting is required
Knowledge of dental software Dentrix and Dexis
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Certification in dental assisting/Radiographic module
