Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of high-quality patient care by assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient comfort, and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Hours:
Tuesday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Wednesday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Friday 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm
Saturday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Sunday 9:00 am - 6:00 pm
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including exams, restorations, and orthodontic treatments
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed
Manage patient records accurately using dental software
Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
Ensure patient comfort and address any concerns throughout their visit
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards
Support administrative tasks including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow when necessary
Assist with pediatrics’ dental care to ensure a gentle, caring approach for young patients
Skills
Strong understanding of dental assisting procedures, sterilization techniques, and infection control practices
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including children
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Basic knowledge of dental radiography techniques and equipment operation
