Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care while assisting the dentist during various procedures. This position is 3-4 days a week and requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment according to infection control protocols.
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental software.
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow within the office.
Stay updated on advancements in dental technology, including CAD systems.
Requirements
Familiarity with orthodontics procedures is desirable.
Understanding of medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
Strong interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients and team members.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
