Certified Dental Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional patient care, assist the dentist during procedures, and ensure smooth daily operations. Prior experience with dental software and a strong understanding of dental procedures are highly valued.

Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics treatments
Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
Manage patient records using Tracker software systems
Provide patient education on oral health and post-treatment care
Maintain accurate documentation of procedures performed and materials used
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and managing patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed
Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including infection control standards
Skills
Proficiency with dental software Tracker
Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, and general dentistry procedures
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
Experience in dental assisting, including taking X-rays and preparing treatment areas
Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients of all ages
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with dental assisting best practices and safety protocols
