Certified Dental Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the delivery of high-quality patient care by assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient interactions, and ensuring the smooth operation of the clinical environment. Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a variety of dental procedures, including exams, restorations, and orthodontic treatments
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Take dental radiographs using sensors
Manage patient records accurately using Cleardent.

Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
Schedule appointments and manage patient flow efficiently, acting as a dental receptionist when needed
Assist with pediatric patients by creating a welcoming environment and supporting their comfort during visits
Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment to ensure safety and compliance with health standards
Requirements
Valid certification as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program
Proficiency with dental software including Cleardent & Tracker.

Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental care
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Prior experience in dental assisting or related roles is highly desirable
