Job Description
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about dentistry and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.

*We are currently looking for Thursdays and Saturdays Only*
Duties:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing the treatment room and sterilizing instruments
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Prepare and maintain dental materials, instruments, and equipment
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain accurate patient records
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is required
- Proficiency in dental software is a plus
- Knowledge of orthodontics, pediatrics, CAD/CAM technology, and medical terminology is desirable
- Familiarity with patient Insurance is preferred
- Sterilization and administration work an asset
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of an accredited dental assisting program or equivalent experience
- Current CPR certification
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Ability to work well in a team environment
