Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dental assisting, with experience using dental management software such Tracker. This role involves providing exceptional patient care, supporting the clinical team, and ensuring smooth office operations. A background in Invisalign, Surgery or medical terminology is a plus. The position offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment committed to delivering high-quality dental services.
Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including exams, restorations, endodontics, Crown and bridges and surgery including implant treatments
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Take and develop dental radiographs (CAD skills are advantageous)
Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
Manage patient records accurately using Tracker software
Support front desk duties as needed, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information (dental receptionist skills are beneficial)
Ensure patient comfort and address their concerns throughout visits
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment
Requirements
Valid certification as a Dental Assistant with current licensure
Proficiency with dental management software Tracker
Experience in Invisalign and surgery is preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dental practice
Strong understanding of dental assisting procedures and sterilization techniques
Ability to communicate effectively with patients of all ages, including children and special needs patients
Familiarity with CAD for digital imaging or design is a plus
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Pay: $25.00-$32.00 per hour
Experience:
CDA: 1 year (preferred)
Licence/Certification:
