Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant/Coronal Polisher to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist dentists with various procedures and provide quality care to patients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about dental healthcare. We are a family run practice and we understand work life balance. The ideal candidate will be a team player who enjoys a busy schedule. Our practice does do a fair amount of pediatric dentistry so must enjoy working with kids and adults alike. Coronal Polishing license or interest in getting license is a plus.

Responsibilities

- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations

- Assist dentists during procedures by handing them instruments and anticipating their needs

- Take and develop dental x-rays

- Maintain patient records and sterilize instruments

- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices
Skills

- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations

- Familiarity with dental procedures such as Prosthodontics, Endodontics, General Dentistry and Pediatric Dentistry

- Proficiency in using dental software systems

- Understanding of medical terminology and dental clinic operations

- Experience with medical imaging and 3D scanners is a plus

- Ability to work effectively in Pediatric Dentistry settings
