Certified Dental Assistant (CDA)

An established, high-volume general dental practice featuring a 20+ member team and 10+ operatories is seeking a caring, team-oriented Licensed Dental Assistant. Located in a convenient shopping center setting with tailored office hours, this practice offers the perfect balance: a fast-paced, modern clinical environment alongside regular team-building activities and extended time off during the holiday season. You will enjoy the stability of having a dedicated operatory and working directly alongside one dentist within a supportive, fun, and highly collaborative team culture. Both experienced LDAs and motivated New Graduates are welcome to apply, as long as you are licensed under BCCOHP and meet the requirements listed below!

Schedule

• Status: Full-Time (4 Days / Week — Fixed Schedule)

• Days & Hours: Tuesday through Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:15 PM (No evenings or weekends)

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Rate: $40.00 – $42.00 per hour

Requirements & Clinical Skills

• Licensing: Valid BC License for Dental Assisting (Required).

• Experience: 1+ years of clinical experience preferred, but enthusiastic New Graduates are encouraged to apply!

• Software & Technology: Familiarity with Power Practice software. Hands-on experience with digital sensors, CEREC, CBCT, and Panoramic imaging is an asset.

• Key Responsibilities: Prepare operatories and uphold strict sterilization protocols; provide chairside assistance for diagnostic and restorative procedures; take accurate digital X-rays; manage digital records; and deliver clear oral health and post-op instruction to patients of all age groups.

• Essential Qualities: Strong communication skills, a compassionate attitude, punctuality, and a genuine passion for working as part of a close-knit team.
