We are a patient-focused dental and orthodontic practice committed to providing exceptional care in a friendly, professional environment. We are a private practice that values patient experience We are seeking a motivated and compassionate Dental and/or Orthodontic Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and passionate about helping patients achieve healthy, confident smiles. Our practice is open Monday - Friday from 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM (working hours 6:45 AM - 3:30 PM). We are open to offering part-time or full time hours (3-5 days/week)

Responsibilities

Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols.

Welcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortable
Discuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they have
Assist doctors during with general dentistry procedures including fillings, crown, implant placement, and extractions.

Assist with orthodontic procedures including bracket placement/removal, bonding/removing fixed palatal expanders, wire changes, retainer delivery, and patient education (training provided if needed).

Take digital X-rays, photographs, physical impressions and digital scans.

Educate patients on oral hygiene, orthodontic care, and post-treatment instructions.

Maintain accurate patient records and treatment notes.

Monitor inventory and assist with ordering supplies.

Ensure patient comfort and provide outstanding customer service.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations and office policies.

Schedule appointments.

Qualifications

Required:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Dental Assistant certification/licensure as required by state regulations.

Radiology license.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset.

Preferred:

Previous dental and/or orthodontic assisting experience.

Experience with digital radiography and dental software (Eaglesoft/Curve).

CPR certification.

Bilingual skills are a plus.
