Certified Dental Assistant

An amazing, very well-known, busy, and technological general practice located in Strawberry Hill (North Delta/Surrey) is seeking a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) who is passionate about providing exceptional patient care, eager to learn, and looking for career opportunities to develop their skill set.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist the dentist during various clinical procedures, including fillings, crowns, extractions, root canals, and other general dentistry treatments.
• Provide chairside assistance during Invisalign treatments.
• Prepare, sterilize, and organize dental instruments and equipment for procedures.
• Take dental radiographs (X-rays) and ensure patient comfort throughout all treatments.
• Manage patient records, ensuring all details are accurately documented.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to safety and sterilization protocols.
• Deliver excellent patient care, providing clear instructions and answering any questions patients may have.

Compensation:

• $30 - $36 per hour (Based on experience and Tracker software proficiency)

Schedule:

• Mondays: Optional (if the right candidate wants to work an extra day)
• Tuesdays: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
• Fridays: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (*Only three Saturdays per month)

Requirements:

• Registered as a Certified Dental Assistant with the BCCOHP.
• Knowledge of Tracker software is preferred.
• 6+ months of experience as a CDA.
• Great communication skills, willingness to learn, and a positive attitude.
