Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Certified Dental Assistant to join our busy and growing dental team in Kamloops, BC.
As a patient-centered practice, we are committed to ensuring every patient receives the gold standard of care and an exceptional clinical experience. This is an excellent opportunity for a CDA who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, values collaboration, and takes pride in delivering outstanding patient care.
Responsibilities
Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures
Prepare treatment rooms and maintain clinical equipment
Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control protocols
Educate and support patients throughout their treatment experience
Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation
Collaborate effectively with dentists, hygienists, and administrative team members
Qualifications
BCCOHP Certified Dental Assistant designation required
Strong chairside assisting skills
Excellent communication and organizational abilities
Positive, patient-focused attitude
Ability to work effectively within a team environment
Experience with digital dental software and workflows considered an asset
Sedation certification is considered an asset
Experience with Cerec is considered an asset
