Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare and sterilize instruments and equipment in accordance with infection control protocols.
Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as directed by the dentist.
Maintain accurate patient records, including medical documentation and treatment plans.
Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality
Experience
Familiarity with Practice Works or similar dental practice management software is a plus.
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail are essential for maintaining accurate records.
