Job Description
Kensington Dental Clinic located in Kensington, PE is looking for a passionate, hard-working Level 2 Certified Dental Assistant/Registered Dental Assistant on a full-time basis to join our team.
The ideal CDA/RDA for our practice values playing their part for the team, to equip the Dentist through providing outstanding treatment assistance and preparing the treatment room and dental equipment/instruments for patient arrival.
Our office has been serving our community for over 50 years. Kensington Dental Clinic is a high energy, light-hearted office that offers a wide variety of services. We focus on a family friendly environment and take pride in our very low staff turnover. Dr. MacLean and 123 Dentist understand that the balance between work and home life can be difficult, so flexibility is something we strive to do. We are seeking someone who is reliable, responsible, and able to work independently to complete various Dental Assistant duties to keep the office running cohesively. We have a large patient base, and our team takes pride in offering top notch care. The ideal Dental Assistant for our team would have some experience in a dental office and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
SCHEDULE:
Monday-Thursday 7:30am - 3:30pm.
Some Fridays 7:30am - 1pm
Responsibilities include:
Greeting patients, and setting the room up for their appointment
Submitting treatment plans
Sterilizing equipment
Ability to communicate with patients in a calm and professional manner
Order office supplies and maintain inventory
Maintaining accurate files & patient records and ensuring confidentiality
Being able to make decisions independently, using proper time-management, and working effectively as a team member
Experience with dental practice management software is considered an asset
Other duties as required

Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients and families
Customer service mindset
