Job Description
Certified Dental Assistant Level I
$20-$25/hr commensurate with experience.

Job description:
The successful candidate shall be responsible for all lab work moving through the practice — receiving, tracking, quality-checking, and ensuring appliances are delivered on time so that the clinical teams can focus entirely on patient care.
Role Description:
This is a part-time (Mon-Wed) on-site role for a Dental Assistant CDA Level I located in London, ON. This lab-focused role is responsible for all lab related tasks including designing appliances (night time appliances for TMJ, retainers, etc.) using our 3D printer.
Responsibilities:
Lab intake and tracking
Receive and log all incoming lab cases for the orthodontic and TMJ/Sleep departments
Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of every lab case — received, in progress, and pending
Track turnaround times for all cases and flag any delays before they impact patient appointments
Quality control
Inspect all incoming appliances and lab work before they are passed to the clinical team
Identify and flag any issues — remakes, adjustments, or substandard work — and coordinate resolution with the lab
Ensure nothing reaches a patient chair that has not been verified against the practice's standard
Clinical team support
Ensure each care team has all lab items ready before patient appointments
Communicate proactively with clinical leads if a lab case will not arrive on time
Maintain an organized, clearly labeled lab environment at all times
Coordinate with labs on any remakes, corrections, or disputes
Success Metrics
· Lab turnaround accuracy: all cases delivered to the clinical team on time, with zero last-minute surprises or defiencies
· Quality control rate: zero case errors reaching the patient chair — no appliances delivered without quality verification
· Remake rate: minimize the percentage of lab cases that require a remake due to defects, incorrect specs, or poor fit.
· Lab environment standard: organized, labeled, and audit-ready at all times
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
