Pickering Smile Centre is growing, and we’re looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Level II Dental Assistant to join us!

What We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who is:
A certified Level II Dental Assistant
Experienced and confident with chairside assisting
Friendly, positive, and excellent with patients
Organized and able to anticipate the needs of the dentist and clinical team
Reliable, motivated, and takes pride in their work
Comfortable working in a busy, fast-paced environment
A true team player who is willing to jump in and help wherever needed
Interested in learning new technology and expanding their clinical knowledge
Experience with Dentrix, Dexis, iTero and CBCT is an asset, but we are happy to provide training to the right person.
What You’ll Be Doing
Your role will include:
Chairside assisting for a wide variety of procedures, including restorative dentistry, endodontics, oral surgery, implants, pediatrics, and emergencies
Taking digital intraoral and panoramic X-rays
Assisting with CBCT imaging
iTero digital scanning for treatment planning and restorative procedures
Operatory setup, turnover, and sterilization
Maintaining excellent infection prevention and control standards
Accurate clinical charting and documentation
Supporting patient bookings and follow-up when needed
Helping create a comfortable, positive experience for every patient
Schedule
We are open to full-time or part-time candidates. At the moment we need Mondays and Tuesdays 10-7, but transitioning to full time in December.
