Certified Dental Assistant - Level II

Burnham Dental is seeking an experienced Certified Dental Assistant - Level II to join our team Monday-Friday (no weekends or evenings!)
Summary
As a Certified Dental Assistant - Level II, you will be integral to providing high-quality dental care and support to both patients and dental professionals. Reporting to the dentist, your core skills in dental assisting and medical terminology will ensure efficient patient management and treatment preparation. Your premium skills in Abeldent dental software, along with experience in assisting the dentist in all types of treatment will enhance our practice's capabilities. With relevant skills in dental assisting, you will contribute to innovative dental solutions, ensuring a positive experience for our patients and a smooth workflow in our clinic.

Responsibilities
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures by providing necessary instruments and materials.

Maintain accurate patient records and manage appointment schedules using dental software (Abeldent).

Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care, ensuring they understand medical terminology related to their care.

Prepare treatment rooms and ensure all equipment is sterilized and ready for use.

Qualifications
Certification as a Dental Assistant - Level II (minimum 1 year experience)
Proficient in medical terminology and dental assisting techniques
Experience with dental software (Abeldent)
Strong communication skills for effective patient interaction
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
