Duties
Assist dentist during a variety of treatment procedures, including restorative, orthodontic, pediatric, and surgical cases
Prepare treatment rooms with the necessary instruments and materials, ensuring sterilization standards are met
Manage patient records using Tracker dental software , documenting procedures accurately and efficiently
Take digital radiographs (X-rays), and iTero scanning as well as traditional impressions occasionally
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health
Support front desk operations by acting as a dental receptionist, scheduling appointments, confirming patient information, and managing inquiries.
Assist with orthodontic procedures and adjustments
Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to all safety and infection control protocols
Skills
Proven experience with dental assisting procedures and patient care in a busy clinical setting
Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with patients of all ages and backgrounds
Knowledge of infection control standards and sterilization procedures to ensure a safe environment for everyone
