Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Certified Dental Assistant Level II to join our dynamic dental team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in dental assisting, with the ability to support various clinical procedures and ensure exceptional patient care. Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during a wide range of dental procedures, including restorative, orthodontic, and pediatric treatments.
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary supplies, and ensuring all equipment is functioning properly.
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, addressing concerns, and ensuring patient comfort throughout visits.
Maintain accurate patient records using dental management software such as Dentrix and Epic, including charting and treatment documentation.
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments, managing patient flow, and handling reception duties when needed.
Assist with digital imaging and CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology for restorative or orthodontic cases.
Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and safety standards at all times.
Skills
Proficiency in dental software applications including ClearDent and MaxAssist for scheduling, billing, and record management.
Experience with orthodontics procedures and supporting orthodontic treatment plans.
Knowledge of pediatric dentistry practices to effectively assist with young patients.
Familiarity with medical terminology relevant to dental care and patient communication.
Strong understanding of dental assisting techniques combined with excellent organizational skills.
Ability to operate CAD technology for designing restorations or orthodontic appliances.
Previous experience as a Dental Receptionist or in front-office duties is advantageous but not required.
