Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated, motivated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dental practice on a full time basis. This ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing compassionate patient care, assisting the dentist during various procedures as well as digital impression scanning. This position requires a compassionate individual who is passionate about oral health, infection control and working on patients of all ages.
Duties include:
- assist the dentist during all procedures performed in the office
- take radiographs as prescribed by the Dentist
- educate patients about oral health
- sterilize instruments according to industry standards
- meticulous maintaining of instruments and equipment
- collaborate with team members to ensure efficient patient flow and high quality dentistry
- maintain patient charts using Abeldent
- educate patients on pre-operative and post-operative instructions
- ability to work under fast paced circumstances while maintaining professionalism
