Full-Time Level II Dental Assistant - Maternity Leave position
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Level II Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. If you are passionate about patient care, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and enjoy working alongside a supportive team, we’d love to hear from you.
Responsibilities
Provide chairside assistance during a variety of dental procedures, including:
Extractions
Endodontics (ENDO)
Implant restorations
Orthodontics (brackets & Invisalign)
Crown & Bridge procedures
Prepare and disinfect treatment rooms
Take digital x-rays (HARP certification required)
Perform iTero scanning
Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
Maintain sterilization protocols and infection control standards
Monitor dental supply inventory and assist with ordering supplies as needed
Qualifications
Level II Dental Assistant certification
Must be NDAEB certified, provide certification
Valid HARP certification
Minimum 3 years of dental assisting experience
Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
Experience with dental software systems; Tracker experience is considered an asset
Experience with Digital Scanning (iTero) is considered an asset
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a team-oriented environment
able to provide references for contact
