Certified Dental Assistant Level II

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our growing dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the dental team in providing exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, utilizing your skills in dental assisting, medical terminology, and dental software systems. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in assisting with procedures, managing patient flow, and maintaining a clean and organized clinical setting.

Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including exams, restorations, crown/bridge preps. Experience with dental implants is an asset.

Take dental radiographs (X-rays)
Manage patient records
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment adhering to safety standards
Assist with laboratory tasks related to dental appliances
Requirements
Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting from an accredited program
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and orthodontics
Familiarity with orthodontic procedures and pediatric dentistry is advantageous
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages as well as team members
Attention to detail, organization, and adherence to infection control standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and compassion
Pay: $24.00-$30.00 per hour
