Job Description
Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing excellent patient care and supporting our dental team in delivering high-quality services. This position requires a strong understanding of dental procedures, effective communication skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Duties
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) as required.
Maintain accurate patient records using Tracker or similar dental software.
Ensure the cleanliness and sterilization of dental instruments and Sterilbay.
Stay updated on medical terminology and advancements in dental technology.
Experience
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is necessary, with knowledge of Tracker being advantageous.
Familiarity with medical terminology related to dentistry is essential.
Experience in a dental receptionist role is a plus.
Knowledge of CAD (Computer-Aided Design) technology can enhance your application.
A background in Orthodontics will be considered an asset.
