Certified Dental Assistant Level II

Our family owned practice is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our team in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work with advanced dental technology and collaborate with experienced professionals in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting. Prior experience with Abeldent dental software , as well as familiarity with orthodontics assisting will be highly valued.

Duties
Assist dentists during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
Take dental radiographs and digital scans when required
Manage patient records accurately using dental software
Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols
Educate patients on oral health care practices and treatment plans
Ensure the comfort of patients throughout their visit
Requirements
Certification or training in dental assisting is required
Ortho assisting is an asset not a requirement
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Basic understanding of dental terminology relevant to dentistry
