Certified Dental Assistant (Maternity Leave Coverage – 12 Months)

Job Summary
We are seeking a Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) to join our team on a full-time, 12-month maternity leave starting June or July 2026 . The ideal candidate will support the dental team by preparing patients, assisting during procedures, and ensuring a smooth and efficient clinic operation. Experience with dental software Cleardent, along with knowledge of orthodontics, will be highly valued. 1 year experience required. Mandarin and/or Cantonese is a strong asset.

Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including orthodontic treatments and pediatric dentistry
Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
Manage patient records using Cleardent software systems
Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures and post-treatment instructions
Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for patients
Ensure compliance with all safety standards and medical terminology requirements
Qualifications
Proven experience in dental assisting, with familiarity in orthodontics preferred
Proficiency with dental management software Cleardent
Knowledge of CAD imaging techniques for dental procedures
Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Experience working as a dental receptionist is a plus
Certification or training in dental assisting is required
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care

Pay: $27.00-$36.00 per hour
