Certified Dental Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support our team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dentist during procedures, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily clinical activities. Prior experience with Tracker software is preferred.

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including orthodontics and pediatrics treatments
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
Take digital dental radiographs and use digital scanners.

Manage patient records accurately using Tracker software .

Provide excellent patient care by explaining procedures, answering questions, and ensuring patient comfort
Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment in compliance with health and safety standards
Support administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and updating patient information as a dental receptionist when necessary
Assist with lab work related to dental appliances or orthodontic devices
Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care instructions
Qualifications
Certification in Dental Assisting from an accredited program or relevant experience in a dental setting
Proficiency with dental software such as Tracker is preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry and orthodontics
Experience working with pediatric patients and orthodontic procedures is advantageous
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
Familiarity with sterilization techniques and infection control protocols
Previous experience as a dental receptionist or in administrative support within a dental practice is a plus
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
