Position
We are seeking a dedicated Certified Dental Assistant Lev II to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will support our dentists in delivering exceptional patient care and ensure smooth clinical operations.
Responsibilities
Assist dentists, both general and specialists, during various dental procedures ensuring patient comfort and safety.
Prepare treatment rooms with necessary instruments and materials.
Maintain sterilization protocols and cleanliness of the clinical environment.
Take digital images, as needed.
Manage patient records accurately using Abeldent software.
Provide post-operative instructions and patient education.
Support front desk activities when needed, including scheduling and patient communication.
Lab work, including fabricating appliances.
Collaborate with team members to enhance patient experience and clinic efficiency.
Qualifications
Certified Dental Assistant credentials from an accredited program (NDAEB certification).
Good understanding of IPAC and its application in day-to-day practices and duties.
Proficiency in Abeldent, EvaSoft digital imaging and Dexis scanner, an asset.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and an engaging approach with patient care.
High degree of professionalism and clinical knowledge.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and think ahead.
Positive attitude and flexibility.
Must be an effective teamplayer and have the initiative to recognize what needs to be done without being told.
Strong command of the English language (both written and spoken).
