Certified Dental Assistant (NDAEB)

Job Description

Key responsibilities include (but not limited to):

• Providing four-handed chairside assistance during a wide variety of dental procedures.

• Maintaining strict adherence to provincial IPAC sterilization and infection control protocols.

• Preparing, stocking, and turning over treatment operatories.

• Performing authorized intra-oral tasks, including taking digital X-rays as well as standard and digital impressions.

• Communicating warmly and effectively with patients to ensure a comfortable experience.

• Managing daily schedules and clinical tasks to maintain office flow.

Schedule

Full-Time (No Evenings & No Weekends)

• Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursday: 7:30 AM – 5:00 PM

• Friday: 7:30 AM – 2:30 PM

Compensation & Benefits

• Pay Rate: $30.00 – $37.00 per hour (commensurate with experience and skill level)

Requirements

• Successful completion of an accredited Dental Assisting program (Level II).

• Valid NDAEB, HARP, and CPR certifications.

• Open to New Graduates or experienced Level II Assistants.

• Core Qualities: Friendly demeanor, strong adaptability in a fast-paced setting, and high clinical competence.
