Overview
We are seeking a Full-time dedicated and skilled Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office while providing exceptional care to our patients. This position requires a blend of clinical expertise and administrative skills, making it essential for the candidate to be well-versed in dental procedures.
Duties
Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available.
Take digital dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.
Maintain patient records, including updating medical histories and documenting treatment plans using Abeldent dental software
Sterilize instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment area according to infection control protocols
Stay current with medical terminology and advancements in dental technology.
Qualifications
Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred.
Familiarity with Abeldent dental software is an added bonus.
Strong understanding of medical terminology related to dental practices.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with patients and team members.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Certification in Dental Assisting or equivalent training is highly desirable.
