Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support the clinical team by providing exceptional patient care, assisting with dental procedures, and ensuring smooth office operations. This role offers an opportunity to work in a collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality dental services.
Duties
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with safety protocols
Assist the dentist during various procedures.
Take and process dental radiographs-HARP certified
Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
Ensure compliance with health regulations and maintain a clean, organized work environment.
Ability to put patients at ease, ensuring a comfortable experience.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Dental Assistant or in a similar role within a dental practice
Knowledge of dental assisting procedures, medical terminology, and dental software Dentrix
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members
Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Certification or licensing as required by province
