Certified Dental Assistant P/T

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Certified Dental Assistant (P/T) to join our dental practice. This part-time position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a friendly, professional environment, supporting patient care and assisting the dental team. The ideal candidate will have experience with dental assisting procedures, familiarity with dental software and terminology, and a passion for providing exceptional patient service. Duties
Assist dentists during various procedures, including exams, restorations, and surgeries
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available
Take and develop dental radiographs
Provide patient education on oral health care and post-treatment instructions
Manage patient records accurately using dental software
Support front desk activities as needed, including scheduling appointments and verifying insurance information
Assist with pediatric patients by creating a welcoming atmosphere and ensuring their comfort during visits
Qualifications
Licensed Dental Assistant with BCCOHP
