Certified Dental Assistant

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and certified Dental Assistant to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. This position requires a strong understanding of general dentistry, dental terminology, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
Assist the dentist during various procedures, ensuring a sterile and organized environment.

Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment for examinations and treatments.

Take dental radiographs (X-rays) as needed.

Perform four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures.

Document patient medical histories and maintain accurate medical records.

Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care.

Manage appointment scheduling, patient flow, and follow-up communications.

Utilize dental software such as Opendental for patient management and documentation.

Stay current with advancements in dental technology, including 3D scanning.
