Certified Dental Assistant ( Part time Wed-Thur, or Tue-Thur, flexible)

We are looking for a Part Time CDA (3days Tuesday-Thursday or 2 days Wednesday-Thursday) to join our fun and friendly dental team.

Consider joining our team if you:

-are hardworking, organized, and a team-oriented CDA who is willing to learn

-have a minimum 1 year experience as a CDA (certification is mandatory)

-have experience with implant/periodontal surgery, prosthodontic treatment (preferable but not mandatory) as well as general dentistry . We are willing to train staff and provide interesting dental treatments from which to learn

-have experience using Cleardent which would be helpful but not mandatory ( training videos are available) and basic reception duties (book appointments, collect payments, insurance submission, answer phone, etc)

-salary will be based on experience, skills and knowledge. A working interview will be required
Duties may include but not limited to:

-chairside assisting for exams, periodontal/implant surgeries, implant prosthodontic and general dentistry restorative treatments, etc.

-taking intra-oral records (scanning or impressions) , radiographs, charting in odontograms for existing restorations and conditions including probing depths, recession, furcation, mobility, bleeding on probing, purulence, etc. )

-using computer for paperless charting and updating patient records

-basic front desk duties when needed (training will be provided) such as booking appointments, answering phone calls, collect payments, submit insurance claims, etc.

-assisting with lab tasks as needed

-sterilize instruments

-order sundries and keep inventory on supplies
About us:

-our main office (Vancouver) is located in the Fairmont Medical Building (750 West Broadway, near Cambie) with easy access to transit and many restaurants/takeout establishments for lunch

- parking is available for staff if required

-we work every Wednesday at our Richmond office (11300 No. 5 Rd., across from Ironwood Shopping Plaza near Steveston Hwy ) with free parking available

-Vancouver office has an on site gym and the Richmond office is close to walking and bike paths

-office hours are Mondays-Fridays (closed on holidays, evenings and weekends). We are looking for a Part Time CDA (Wednesday-Thursday or Tuesday- Thursday) to work every Wednesday in our Richmond office and other days in our Vancouver office.

-monthly study club sessions are held at our office so you can obtain CE credits and learn more about implants and surgical procedures
