Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Dental Assistant to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will support dentists in providing exceptional patient care, ensuring smooth clinic operations, and maintaining a welcoming environment. This role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced, patient-focused setting with a team committed to excellence in dental health services. Experience with dental software such as Cleardent, as well as familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics, will be highly valued.
Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments in accordance with infection control protocols
Assist dentists during examinations and procedures, including orthodontic and pediatric treatments
Take and develop dental radiographs using CAD technology when necessary
Manage patient records using dental software such as Cleaedent
Provide pre- and post-operative instructions to patients
Support administrative duties including scheduling appointments and managing patient check-in/check-out processes as a dental receptionist
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment
Educate patients on oral health care practices and treatment plans using medical terminology that is accessible to patients
Assist with inventory management of dental supplies and materials
Requirements
Certification or diploma in Dental Assisting from an accredited program
Proficiency with dental software ,Cleardent
Experience with orthodontics, pediatrics, or general dentistry is highly desirable
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry
Familiarity with CAD technology for digital imaging is a plus
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages, including pediatrics
Ability to work efficiently in a team environment while maintaining attention to detail
Prior experience working as a dental receptionist or in administrative support within a dental practice is advantageous
Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient confidentiality
Pay: $32.00-$35.00 per hour
