We are a new and modern dental clinic looking for coverage for Saturdays 10am - 5pm.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Certified Dental Assistant to join our team. As a CDA, you will play a crucial role in assisting the dentist during various dental procedures and ensuring the comfort of our patients. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including taking X-rays, providing instruments, and maintaining suction
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Take accurate patient medical histories and record vital signs
- Schedule patient appointments and maintain patient records
- Perform dental receptionist duties as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred
- Proficient in Opes or similar dental software
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate and caring demeanor towards patients
- Ability to work well as part of a team
