Overview
Join our dynamic dental team as a Certified Dental Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment. As a key member of our clinical team, you will assist the dentist during procedures, ensure the highest standards of infection control, and help create a welcoming atmosphere for all patients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to grow your skills in general dentistry. Your expertise in dental assisting, medical documentation, and patient management will contribute to smooth clinic operations and outstanding patient experiences.
with proficiency in dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and chairside support
Duties
Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments, supplies, and sterilized equipment in accordance with infection prevention management and aseptic techniques
Assist dentist chairside during a variety of procedures including endodontics, prosthodontics and restorative dentistry.
Take dental x-rays while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies
Knowledge of Dentrix Software is a must.
Manage patient flow by scheduling appointments when necessary to help out.
Inventory and ordering of clinical supplies a must.
Perform vital signs assessments and medical imaging to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
Process dental instruments following sterilization procedures and maintain strict infection control standards
Educate patients on oral health care practices, post-treatment instructions, and preventive measures to promote long-term dental health Qualifications
Valid certification as a Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration as required by local regulations
Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental equipment operation, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry
