Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and compassionate Certified Dental Assistant to join our vibrant dental team! In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering exceptional patient care by assisting the dentist during procedures, managing patient comfort, and ensuring smooth clinical operations. Your expertise will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. Responsibilities
Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to ensure a safe and efficient workflow
Assist the dentist during various procedures, including root canal treatment,surgery,restorative procedures
Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) using digital technology
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote long-term dental health
Manage patient records accurately using dental software such Maxident(will train)
Support front desk staff by handling patient check-ins
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and dental terminology standards to ensure safety and compliance
Requirements
Valid certification as a Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration in good standing
Proven experience with dental assisting in surgical procedure,root canal and restorative procedures.Knowledge of dentalterminology relevant to dentistry and patient communication
Ability to operate digital imaging and radiography purposes
Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in managing patient files and clinical supplies
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients of all ages and team members
