Duties
Assist the dentist during various dental procedures, including examinations, restorations and more
Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments, setting up necessary equipment, and ensuring all materials are ready for patient appointments.
Manage patient records accurately using dental practice management
Provide patient education on oral hygiene practices, post-treatment care, and preventive measures.
Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and safety standards to ensure a sterile environment.
Coordinate with the team to ensure efficient workflow and exceptional patient experience across pediatric and adult patients.
Experience
Certification as a Dental Assistant from an accredited program
Prior working experience is preferred
Knowledge of medical terminology relevant to dentistry and healthcare environments.
Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients, team members, and external providers.
Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and procedures within the dental field.
